Can you believe the year is already coming to a close? The holiday season is approaching, and we’re planning a #GivingTuesday that will be bigger than EVER!

I'd like to introduce you to our 2021 Children's Scholarship Recipient, Jake Scepaniak.

On September 17, 2016, Jake Scepaniak’s dad, Scott, was critically injured in an air medical accident while on duty as a flight nurse in Minnesota. Jake was just 14 at the time. As you can imagine, this event shaped his teenage years.

Overnight, Jake took on a lot of added responsibilities, including sharing in the care of his dad who was just starting a painful and extensive recovery process. As a result of his involvement, he developed a keen interest in the healthcare field.

With the help of a MedEvac Foundation International scholarship made possible by the generosity of donors, Jake is now pursuing a degree in nursing at Saint John University in Collegeville, Minnesota.  

Let’s help take care of our own!  Honor Jake Scepaniak and his dad, Scott, by giving to the MedEvac Foundation so more kids like Jake can accomplish their dreams.
