Dear Friend,

This holiday season please consider making an end of year donation to the MedEvac Foundation. Now more than ever we need your contribution to further our mission of advancing medical transport worldwide through research, education, crew outreach and support.

Air medical and critical care ground transport saves lives and the people who do this work need unique mental health and wellness support from the communities they serve and from the EMS industry.  Emergency medical transport professionals already care for the most critical patients, and Covid-19 has caused an even larger increase in burnout, fatigue, and PTSD in these providers. Their work is not without cost.

Recent reports show a sharply rising number of medical providers being pushed to a breaking point, all in service to their communities.

Moving forward in 2022, our focus will be a “Taking Care of Our Own” tour for EMS first-responders and their families. Our 2022 tour will consist of educational seminars in 10 cities across the country featuring presentations on mental health and wellness. Our sessions will focus on peer to peer support teams, lessons learned from crash survivors, building and maintaining resilience, and best practices for mitigating and preventing psychological trauma and post-traumatic stress in medical crew members. We need your help to fund these much-needed resources for our transport community!

The Medevac Foundation International is committed to taking care of these individuals while they provide such excellent care to us. Please consider joining us in support of our ongoing efforts.

Sincerely,

Megan Cohen
